FARMACOCINETICADistribución • De los betalactámicos son los que mejor atraviesan BHE • De todas, las de tercera generación son las que tienen mejores niveles en LCR • La unión proteica es variable. Interesa en la ceftriaxona, que no debe darse a neonatos porque compite con la bilirrubina por la albúmina (riesgo de Kernicterus)

  4. FARMACOCINETICAEliminación • Renal • En general es dializable • En insuficiencia renal debe disminuirse la dosis, especialmente para la cefalotina

  5. EFECTOS ADVERSOS • Son potencialmente nefrotóxicas si: Existe lesión renal previa Se las combina con otras drogas nefrotóxicas • La nefrotoxicidad es reversible si el riñón era previamente sano

  6. Cefazolina Cefamandol Cefotetán Cefoperazona Produce: Síndrome Disulfiram Efecto antivitamina K (igual al de los anticoagulantes orales) EFECTOS ADVERSOSnúcleo 3 metiltiotetrazol
