Nascosto nel fango lui sempre cacciava immobile, zitto, un tronco sembrava. Qualsiasi cosa gli andasse vicino, finiva per essere un suo bocconcino.

  3. Una volta, sul fiume però navigava una barchetta che vino portava: due secchi, tre fiaschi e pure una botte, viaggiava sul fiume da un giorno e una notte.

  4. Appena lui vide arrivare qualcosa aprì la sua bocca enorme e golosa: sotto i colpi di coda la barca ondeggiava e il vino nel fiume così rovesciava.

  5. Il gran cacciatore allor si trovò, pur senza volerlo, a berne un bel po’. Sull’argine adesso lui dorme tranquillo: è sempre un gran cocco, però Coccobrillo!
