  1. Electric Forces, Fields and Energy Ch. 17 & 18 Test

  2. Like charges repel How are electric forces and gravitational forces different? What variables affect the magnitude of the force between electric charges? Know how changing distance changes electric force and potential energy

  3. Be able to diagram the distribution of charges in an electroscope Be able to draw vectors representing electric field around electric charges Know the definition of work and know work = PE Know how moving a charge in an electric field changes potential energy

  4. - - For different locations, know how a charge would move

  5. Know the different units for voltage what it measures, and be able to calculate it

  6. 6 nC -5.0 nC -5.0 nC 1 m Calculate the net electric force on the 6 nC charge. Don’t forget direction! If the 6 nC disappeared, calculate the electric field where it was. Don’t forget direction!
