R IDUCI REDUCE Usa tovaglioli di stoffa, piatti di ceramica e posate in metallo al posto di quelli di carta e plastica; usa la sporta in tela invece di riportare a casa buste di plastica ogni volta che vai a fare la spesa; evita l’acquisto di prodotti confezionati singolarmente; COMPRA DI MENO Use proper towels and ceramic plates at home instead of paper towels, disposable spoons and paper plates; get your own shopping bag instead of bringing home plastic bags each time you go grocery shopping; avoid single-serve containers; BUY LESS

R IUSA REUSE Ci sono materiali che possono essere usati più e più volte: contenitori, carta da regalo, vestiti, mobili e giocattoli; usa pile ricaricabili There are things that can be used over and over again: package boxes, gift wrappers, clothing, furniture and even playing toys; use rechargeable batteries

  7. R EGALA DONATE Quello che a te non piace più, potrebbe essere un dono gradito a un amico, o al figlio della vicina. Invece di “gettare”, dona alle associazioni di beneficenza della tua zona. Whatever you don’t like anymore, you can give it out to someone who has a need for it; instead of throwing away, donate them to charity/community groups.

  8. R IPARA REPAIR Non gettare i tuoi oggetti e i tuoi capi al primo segno di “cedimento”, cerca una soluzione alternativa, ripara e “rattoppa”. Repairing products in an alternative solution to reduce waste

R ICICLA RECYCLE Seleziona quanti più tipi diversi di materiale dai rifiuti, adottando la raccolta differenziata, in modo che possano essere in seguito sottoposti a processi di lavorazione per produrre nuovi materiali.  Il riciclo ha un doppio beneficio: da una parte aiuti l’ambiente, dall’altra le tue tasche. Più ricicli minori saranno i costi di smaltimento dei rifiuti per il tuo Comune. Select as many kinds of materials as possible so they can be processed into new, useful products. This is done to reduce air, water and land pollution and to save money for the family. The more you recycle the lower are the costs of waste management for your municipality.

Our municipality helps households with bins in different colour so we can easily sort out the waste and place them in the right bin for collection.

LA RACCOLTA E L'USO DELLA CARTA NELLA NOSTRA SCUOLA PAPER COLLECTION AND USE IN OUR SCHOOL • La carta viene raccolta in appositi cestini nelle classi e poi versata nei cassonetti fuori della scuola e portata nei centri di riciclaggio. • Nel corso degli anni il consumo di carta è aumentato. • Vengono acquistati due rotoloni di carta e una risma di fogli al mese per ogni classe. • La carta viene adoperata soprattutto per pulire, asciugarsi le mani, fare fotocopie, disegni, cartelloni e lavoretti vari.
