The next few slides are a preview of some of the actual 258 pages of content. The book may be purchased direct from the printer, an Amazon owned company called CreateSpace. They have a web page set up for this book where you can use a credit card, or you can also buy it on Amazon.com like any other book. The links to CreateSpace and Amazon are on the pipesfamily web page. After all these years of promising to put some of our family history into book form, here it is! The focus of this book is Obediah Brumfield Pipes and his wife Josephine Bonaparte Edwards and their nine children. They were born and lived in Boyle, Marion and Washington Counties from 1835 to the mid 1890s. The book explains their ancestry back to the early 1700s and their roots in Kentucky. It also provides details of Obediah’ s involvement in the Civil War, the land they lived on and the families of their children.
