CIT Extended Campus • CIT established the CIT Extended Campus in November 2011 following successful lead in SIF-funded collaborative REAP project • Facilitates sharing of information and practice - on engagement, external organisations and contacts in order to support and contribute to institutional strategy and knowledge. • A single point of contact for external organisations seeking to interact with academics and researchers in CIT for graduate formation, workforce development or research and innovation.

Exemplars • PMD Solutions (Myles Murray) • Alanya– start-up company working with Rubicon and Nimbus, development of technology for animal health monitoring systems • Radisens– award-winning start-up company working with Rubicon, Nimbus, MEDIC and CAPPA, developing new Point-Of-Care diagnostic technology • UTRC – multinational company, working with Nimbus collaboratively to build energy management solutions • Exxcel– at Rubicon, Female entrepreneurship programme targetting the STEM sector – starting SOON
