  1. Good Afternoon!! • Key Events of the French Revolution • Complete and Present! Essential Question: What happened over the course of the French Revolution?

  2. The French Revolution • In your group, please READ each primary source document ONE AT A TIME. For each document, DISCUSS each question on the document AS A GROUP and ANSWER the questions in complete sentences on a separate piece of paper. Each person must write down answers to the questions. • Once you have read all the documents and answered each question, Your group is to prepare an ILLUSTRATED CHILDREN’S STORYBOOK that describes the major events of the French Revolution. It should be written and designed in a way that a 10-year-old could read and enjoy it.

Storybook • Storybook and presentation demonstrates clear understanding of ALL SIX of the KEY EVENTS explained in the documents. • Storybook must contain a creative title, an illustration of the key event, thought or voice bubbles coming from characters, and a brief explanation of each key event • Every group member must speak during the presentation

  4. Debrief • For groups that worked well together, what behaviors, norms, or systems resulted in successful and efficient group work? • For groups that did not work as well, what behaviors resulted in inefficient and off-task group work?
