  5. Future Outlook 3/2013 Current and near-term change projects FRL refresh in-work, 120pns remain VQZ series coil upgrade About 15pns VJ obsolescence Ongoing, about 50pns near-term CE! parts list clean-up, ongoing Around 500pns Mostly PN changes such as dropping the initial N or changing to a modern replacement MPN Mid-range change projects Additional CQ2/CQS pns body changes Roughly 55pns Considering 5-year reserve stock

  6. Future Outlook 3/2013 Long-range change projects SY series coil upgrade Superior operator similar to VQs Ultimate plan is to replace other series as the flagship SMC valve Possibly 30-36 months from now Transition to Applied Materials timeline Sync with technology node changes Reduce or eliminate mid-run changes Showcase modern products for new nodes Eliminate EOL product from the CE! index

  7. A Couple Questions Varian, Semitool Change notification process is very different to SPS & SNF GMOX and the SPS sytem E-supplier replacing GMOX Will change the SPS or SNF process? Flagging EOL product in reserve Some future changes we can set aside reserve stock until strategic time to change Is there a method to flag product as EOL so it doesn’t go on a new design BOM? ECO Is there an ECO library similar to FAIs?
