THANKS GIVING. Thanks Giving dinner. According to what traditionally is known as "The First Thanksgiving," the 1621 feast between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians at Plymouth Colony contained turkey, waterfowl, venison, fish, lobster, clams, berries, fruit, pumpkin, and squash.

  3. Thanks Giving • Først fejret af pilgrimme, som bosatte sig i Plymoth, Massachusetts, efter deres første høst i 1621. Wampanoag indianerne lærte dem at fiske og dyrke jorden. • En tak til Gud for alt hvad det nye land tilbød af rigdomme. • Mange af disse indvandrere var religiøse og var i deres hjemland undertrykte og forfulgt.
