GeoGebra for primary schoolGeoGebraPrim • Funding: University of Luxembourg • Time: 2007-2009 • Development: • adjustment of GeoGebra to the primary school • integration of GeoGebra into TAO (computer based testing) • Aims: • better understanding of the elementary geometric concepts • deeper insight in the relations between geometry and algebra • Research: • pre-/post-test with 100 children in the test/control group • 4th and 6th grade in primary school (age 9/10 and 11/12)

Interoperable Interactive Geometry for Europe Intergeo • Funding: 10 consortium partners, co-funded by the Community programme eContentplus • Time: October 2007 – September 2010 • Barriers: • missing search facilities • lack of interoperability • missing quality information • Aims: • searchable and metadata-tagged (curriculum) portal • common data transfer format • quality enhancement cycles (peer-review, ranking and feedback)

Advancing Technology in Mathematics EducationATME • Proposal: Community programme Comenius • Consortium: 3 partners • Time: October 2008 – September 2010 • Aims: • develop digital learning materials for mathematics • train teachers to use technology in their work • advance the best practices in eLearning in secondary education • Research: • case studies to evaluate the benefits • analysis of various pedagogical aspects
