  2. Report Briefing • The meeting was conducted in Room No.402 on 26th Nov. 2012. • 17 members are recognized. The attending members country are as follows: • India • Indonesia • Japan • Malaysia • Pakistan • Sri Lanka

Report Briefing Continued • Resignation received from Chairperson and one of the Vice Chairperson and in the absence of the other Vice chairperson, Mr. Ahsan Ali Thakur was appointed as the Interim chairperson until the next meeting. • Observe also attended from the following Country: • Malaysia • Sri Lanka • Japan • India

Report Briefing Continued • The members adopted the agenda. • Dr. Chan Ho Choi (Regional Director of ICA) • The session: • Started with Minutes of the Beijing meeting 2010 • Introduction of the members followed by respective Country Presentation. • Followed by presentation on ‘Cooperative Business Solutions’ by the Secretary.

Report Briefing Continued: The Session • Followed by the working and promotion of Co-operative Movement amongst Youth in Pakistan Namely ‘Intro to Co-op’ workshop by my Self and the Devastation due to Flood in Pakistan 2010. • The committee organized a workshop for youth at Kannur, Kerala on Cooperative entrepreneurship and Green Innovations and has released two editions of its electronic magazine – ‘Young & Cooperating’.

Report Briefing Continued: The Session • Model Constitution was discussed and suggestion were received as follows: • The name of the committee shall be ICA AP Committee on Youth • A member of the Committee should be within the age bracket of 19-40 years. • Apart from the physical meeting, two online meetings shall also be organized for the Youth Committee and it shall be mandatory for the committee members to attend at least one out of the possible three meetings. • The Committee shall urge the Apex Organizations/ICA Members to support Youth morally and financially.

  8. Report Briefing Continued: The Session • Committee also wished to arrive at a definition pertaining to the YOUTH. • The Committee Members decided to meet in Buldana, India in 2013 to conduct fresh elections.
