The 5 Recognitions of the Transition Movement Life with less energy is inevitable and it is better to plan for it than be taken by surprise Infinite economic and consumption growth simply isn’t possible We have lost the resilience to be able to cope with energy shocks We have to act together and we have to act now By unleashing the collective genius of the local community we can design ways of living that are more enriching, satisfying and connected than in the present.

Invitation to workshops and a launch • Come if you are looking for ideas for what can be done in your local community • Come if you just want to hear more about the possibilities in TT • Come to get inspired • Come if you have decided, that you want to be part of launching a TT initiative • Come if you already know you want to start, but have not found partners yet • Come with others from you local area, who could be interested • Come and bring 3 friends whom you think should hear about Transition Town • Come if you think it is time to start local Transition Town initiatives in Denmark. Come and meet others, who think the same.

Transition Town workshop and launch • Workshop Klimaforum 09 Dec. 13th at 13:00 - 16:00 • Purpose • To give a good understanding of what TT is about in an open space process • Be inspired by the possibilities and results in Transition Town • Get inspiration and courage to start, yourself • Launch meeting for local TT initiatives in Denmark • January 13th from 13:00 to 16:00 in Copenhagen • Purpose: • Start the first local TT initiative groups in Denmark • Begin planning the first of the 12 steps for local areas • Introduce tools from the Transition Handbook • Establish networks between persons, who still have not found partners in their local areas • Establish networks and support between different TT initiatives in Denmark
