Caveats • In any case, democracy cannot be exported, it must be grown from within. • Popular support and participation are the prerequisite ingredient for democracy. • Popular support should not lead to populism, but create the strengthened republicanism. • The Korea Wave should be just one of triggering effects, rather than a cure-all.
