  5. 2 Samuel 22:2-4 (NKJV) “The Lordis my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;3 The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;My shield and the horn of my salvation,My stronghold and my refuge;My Savior, You save me from violence.4 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;So shall I be saved from my enemies.

  6. 2 Samuel 22:31 (NKJV) 31 As for God, His way is perfect;The word of the Lordis proven;He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV) 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,And whose hope is the Lord.8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,Which spreads out its roots by the river,And will not fear[a] when heat comes;But its leaf will be green,And will not be anxious in the year of drought,Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
