  3. The Cat And The Mouse

  4. One day, a little mouse woke up early. He decided to take a walk. He started his walk from Country Road, and then walked south. He turned right on James Street. He passed Taiwan Bank and saw Ed's Bakery right in front of him. Suddenly, he saw a brown cat sleeping at the corner of Da-Han Street and James Street. He was so afraid that he had to stop walking. “She must be a new visitor, ”said the mouse. “There were no cats here before. What should I do now?”

  5. Right at this moment, the cat woke up. The mouse almost fainted. It was too late for him to get any help because there was nobody else around. Luckily, an apple tree near him was short enough for him to climb up. The cat heard the noise and looked up. She tried to climb up the tree, too. The mouse shouted in a loud voice, “Don't come up here. Leave me alone!”

  6. The cat said, “Don't be afraid. I'm a vegetarian. I just want to play with you.”
