  1. CastellodeiLandi is a fully restored medieval castle with original features, dating from the XII century tucked away in the Umbrian countryside just 15 minutes from Todi.

  2. Perched on top of a hill, which is wholly owned, the castle enjoys a dominant position with wonderful views from deep in the countryside to the outline of the mountains standing out in the distance.

  3. The castle is in a panoramic, secluded but not isolated position, completely untouched and has been acknowledged as a period residence, becoming part of the UNESCO World Heritage in 2009. The castle has surface area of 1,355 m2 and consists of the castle and separate and independent living quarters in the immediate vicinity, as well as a house near the private pond, a barn with a shed, a kitchen and accommodation for the employees. The castle is on three floors and is square with towers in the corners, buttresses on the lower side at the back and two central courtyards protecting the residence.

  4. The entrance door opens onto the courtyard and features a well that leads to a room with typical high stone walls and a barrel vaulted ceiling. It is used as a venue for dinners and has a large stone fireplace.

From the first courtyard, a second door opens onto a second private courtyard, around which there are the entrances to the residence itself, with the living area on the ground floor and the sleeping area on the upper floors. There is an apartment in the left wing of the castle, with a private entrance from the outside consisting of living area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Princess’s Chamber is striking and is located in the highest tower, which can be reached via a walkway that goes up along the walls of the inner courtyard. In the immediate vicinity of the castle there is a 55 m2 apartment with a lounge, a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

  7. Surrounded by 17 hectares of private land with olive grove, fruit orchard, woods and arable land with private pond. There is an extensive, level lawn area around the castle, creating a scenic park with the fortress as a curtain wall. The lawn has an irrigation system connected to a large-capacity artesian well. Passages and little alleys shaded by the tall trees lead to the swimming pool, which measures 14 m x 5.3 m, in a private, panoramic position, surrounded by a stone-paved sun deck, with rooms used as a changing room, a bathroom and a storage room for outdoor furniture.

  8. Location Tucked away in the Umbrian countryside, just 15 minutes from Todi (15 km) and 30 minutes from Orvieto (31 km). The airport of Perugia S. Egidio is 61 km away and you can reach Rome and the international airport of Rome-Fiumicino in about an hour and a half.
