  5. President Pro Temp of the Senate • Keeps order in the Senate in the VP’s absence…recognizes people to speak. • Patrick Leahy

Choose a department, and write a proposal to improve a particular issue that concerns your department. • Must include: • Description of the problem (5 points) • 2 proposed solutions & explanation of why necessary and how it will work (5 points each) • Constituents (voters) whose support you will gain through this proposal (5 points)
