Job Advertisement Job Description: Entry Level Laborers in our Construction Department Crew Chief and Foreman Advancement Opportunities for these Construction Laborer Positions Requirements: Clean Driver’s License a plus Drug free Previous construction experience preferred Incentives: Competitive Salary, bonuses & benefits package! Duties: Construction laborers will work on almost all construction sites, performing a wide range of tasks from the very easy to the hazardous. Looking for experience in building construction from the ground up with highway, and heavy construction equipment experience preferred. Residential and commercial site work of over 5 years a plus. Knowledge of tunnel and shaft excavations not required but, but a plus. The job requires great physical strength, training, and experience. Laborers must be a quick learners and team players. Construction generalists will perform many different tasks during all stages of construction. Construction laborers will work required overtime and weekends. Construction laborers will clean and prepare construction sites. Remove trees and debris; tend pumps, compressors, and generators; and erect and disassemble scaffolding and other temporary structures. They will load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials to the appropriate location according to project plans and specifications. Laborers are to tend to machines; such as the use a portable mixer to mix concrete or tend a machine that pumps concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster, or stucco through a spray gun for application to ceilings and walls.   12. Contract Agreement for Temporary ServiceThis is an agreement, effective when signed by both parties, between ________ (referred to hereinafter as "temporary employee") and Absentees Construction Co. (hereinafter called "Construction Firm"), with offices at 500 W University Ave El Paso, TX 79968 for services provided in Attachment A. A. TermThis agreement shall take effect on September 29, 2011 and shall remain in effect until March 29, 2012 or until terminated as specified herein.  During this period, temporary employees will perform work as specified in Attachment B and will maintain an hourly wage of 11.00/hr. including a maximum of 2 hrs. overtime per day.  Employee will record hourly time in a daily log. Failure to provide adequate time keeping or falsification of time worked will be grounds for withholding payment and/or employment termination.  B. Scope of WorkTemporary employees will provide Absentees Construction Co. with construction and related services with respect to laying foundation and installing and securing underground fuel storage tanks.  The expectations, however, are not limited to listed responsibilities. The project at hand is to erect a building that will cater to customers needing fuel and food.  All employees hired are expected to be fully capable of performing such skills.  Modifications or enhancements in the objective do not constitute an amendment or nullification of this agreement.   13. Solving a conflict between regular and extra workers

  14. Our way of solving conflicts between our workers is by having polices and boundaries in the work place. In other words an employee manual. The manual will have all the rules that need to be followed. For example, how to maintain a harassment free workplace, policies about maintaining a drug free work environment, how the company will ensure the health and safety of employees, what their policy is for a nondiscrimination workplace and what type of behavior they need to have at work ( with co-workers and with the boss). Workers will need to sign and date the employee manual stating that they are aware of the polices.

  15. Conflict Happens Would get each person involved in the situation and listen to what they have to say about the conflict. Listen to them carefully and write down every detail. Ask them questions about the incident. For example, What’s the real story on what happened? Then look at the companies’ policies and see, what is the best way to solve the conflict. If a worker violates the manual then they would have to be dismissed from the position.
