  3. Habitats • Habitats are the homes to living things. • Each habitat is important and special.

  4. Types of habitats • Types of habitats: • Tundra • Ocean • Rain Forest • Woodland • Savannah • Grass land

  5. Tundra • The Tundra is the coldest Habitat on earth. The animals that live there have thick fur coats to keep them warm and padded feet to stop them from falling through the snow. There are only 3 tundra biomes. The Artic, the alpine and the Antarctic tundra.

  7. The Narwhal • The Narwhal is a whale. It is sometimes called the Corpse Whale because it has a habit of floating on its back and looking like a corpse. It has a long horn that is similar to the unicorn’s horn. It lives in the ocean from West Greenland Mid-eastern Canada. The Narwhal’s diet consist of squid and flatfish.

  9. My Action Plan To help all the habitats I will: • Try to stop littering for me and other people. • Try not to waste paper. • Recycle, reuse and reduce. • Try to pick up any litter I see, even if it’s not mine • Try to plant as much as possible.
