PROCUREMENT WEEK 2013 CALL FOR STUDENT PAPERS: PROCUREMENT WEEK 2013, 18thMarch-22ndMarch 2013 Through its Annual Procurement Week, the Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies (ICPS) at Bangor University recognises opportunities that arise from integration between private and public procurement and welcomes papers that explore and enhance understanding of competition and procurement issues for national and global benefits. We welcome papers from practitioners and academics in various disciplines (including but not limited to law, public procurement, economics, business, politics, and public finance). Suggested topics of focus include the following areas:  • Public Procurement Law • Procurement and Competition Law • Sustainable Procurement • SME Procurement Barriers • E-Procurement • Procurement Innovation • Procurement Risk • Economic Analysis • Re-engineering Procurement Processes • Judicial Review All paper submissions must include the following: The title of the paper An abstract not exceeding 200 words Short biographical details of the author Student Research Papers: The conference will present an opportunity for students to showcase the many exciting and innovative procurement research projects that are taking place around the globe. Participating postgraduate students are invited to present their research papers for discussion by renowned procurement experts. Students that are selected to present will be given free admission to the conference, and provided with bed and breakfast accommodation on the night of Sunday 17th March 2013. Student paper’s that are selected will be delivered on Monday 18th March 2013 at Bangor University. Paper submissions should be made to Stephen Clear, Legal Research Support Officer, at s.clear@bangor.ac.uk no later than Monday 29th October 2012.
