  2. Thoughts About The Wonderful Wizard of Oz • The characters corrupt their thoughts of action. • Oz deceives the characters in Emerald City holding truths hidden from them. • Whether it be disorders or illusions the characters are blinded from the reality of Oz’s society.

  3. Scarecrow and his Intelligence • Lack of mental development since he was not exposed to the land of Oz. • Since scarecrow did not know the reality of Oz’s society he easily believed what was said about his surroundings. • Scarecrow was new to the world therefore he learned as he traveled through the land of Oz • Since his learning has not reached to the point where knowledge of lies and truths it made it easier for Oz to hold both against him. • Common Ground • Since scarecrow has intellectual deficiency the perception of Oz’s society can make him fall into misbeliefs.

  4. Dorothy & the Tin Woodman Self Awareness • Dorothy has narcissistic disorder • Dorothy is easily deceived by Oz since she is more determined in finding her way home then to concentrate on the reality of the society. • Tin woodman suffers from developmental issues. • Tin woodman is finding his inner self not being aware the society he is living in. • Common ground • Dorothy and Tin Woodman are preoccupied with their personal intention then to realize the society reality.

  5. The Cowardly lion • Low self-esteem and self anxiety • Cowardly lion has low intention to standing up to others beliefs (Oz) since his low self esteem is intact. • Common ground • With psychological distress the cowardly lion has minimal purpose to show his voice when it comes to a Oz’s society.
