  2. Organization’s Mission • Our organizations mission is to provide quality service and transportation to the community of Bloomsburg and Bloomsburg University.

  3. Our Service • The service we will be providing is motorized transportation which will cover the areas of Berwick, Bloomsburg, and Danville. We will also provide Horse drawn carriage transportation around the city of Bloomsburg.

  4. Marketing Strategy • Coordination with Bloomsburg University • Target consumers will be mostly students • Will compete with the drunk bus • Advertisment • Internet, Flyers, Radio, Orientation, Commercials, and Word of Mouth

  6. Business Procedures • There will be several rules set forth for each employee to abide by. Each driver will have a number assigned to them that a customer can call if they feel they have been mistreated in any way.

  7. Possible Expansion • As of right now global expansion is now a possibility because we want to focus our time and effort getting started in the town’s of Bloomsburg, Danville, and Berwick. • After debt is paid off expansion is a possibility throughout Pennsylvania

  11. Nature of Business • Our company will provide transportation for the greater Bloomsburg area. This will include: Bloomsburg, Wal-Mart, Danville, and Berwick. We will have horse drawn carriages along with our conventional Taxis.

  12. History of Bloomsburg • Bloomsburg is the only town in Pennsylvania. Its population as of July 2007 is 12,627. Bloom Township, as it was known until the mid-1800's was one of the original 12 townships which comprised Columbia County in 1813. Various portions were taken from it to be added to surrounding townships, and in 1870, the remainder was organized as the Town of Bloomsburg. Bloomsburg University was started in 1839. Bloomsburg is also home to the Bloomsburg hospital and the Bloomsburg public library that has 26,500 volumes that can be accessed by anyone. The Bloomsburg fair is also a big attraction to the community.

  15. Justify the need for this particular business in downtown Bloomsburg • People need a way to get from place to place. There is no business in the downtown area that will provide this service. We will be able to provide this service for everyone.

  29. Rates • Bloomsburg University students there will be a basic fee of 15 dollars built into their tuition and they will only have to pay 35 cents per every ¼ mile.  • Regular residents of the town will pay a $1.50 right off the bat and then 35 cents for every ¼ mile after that.
