2. About the Speaker: Dr. Wu is a CEO of Zhejiang Teruisi Pharmaceutical Inc., located in Huzhou (Zhejiang), China. The company focuses on biopharmaceutical research/development and commercial production. It also provides a platform to partner with worldwide major pharmaceutical companies to co-develop or manufacture biopharmaceutical products. The company was founded by experienced biopharmaceutical veterans from BMS, J&J, Bayer Healthcare, and Genentech with a five-year committed funding of 120 million. Teruisi is aimed to deliver quality pharmaceuticals to worldwide market including China, US and EU. Prior to taking the CEO position, Dr. Wu had more than 20 years broad experiences in US including biotech division of big-pharmaceutical companies (BMS and J&J) and mid-size innovated biotech companies (Genzyme and Seattle Genetics) in various disciplinary functional areas such as Regulatory-CMC, analytical development, and quality control. Her experience covers multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular, immunology/infectious disease and recombinant vaccines. Dr. Wu had participated or led 6 mAbs product development including phase 1, 2, 3 clinical development and commercial launch(s). She had participated and supported upstream, downstream, fill/finish process development, optimization and validation. Dr. Wu also had extensive interactions with multiple functional areas including Process Development, Commercial Manufacturing including CMOs, Drug Safety Evaluation, Clinical Operation and Business Development.
