  1. WHY DO WE NEED THE BAPTISM in the HOLY SPIRIT?

  2. TO COUNSEL US! Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. John 16:7

  3. TO GUIDE US! But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13

  4. TO CONVICT US When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. John 16:8

  5. TO TEACH US! the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26

  6. TO GIVE US POWER! But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… Acts 1:8

  7. TO GIVE US BOLDNESS! And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Acts 4:31

  8. TO HELP US PRAY We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26
