  1. Championships Atlanta, GA April 14th – 18th 2010 April 6th

  2. Why We’re There • Compete while having fun! • Last Championships ever in ATL • Competing for Chairman’s and with robot

  3. While We’re There • Be respectful of mentors, hotel staff & guests, event organizers, ESPECIALLY Georgia Dome event staff • Lots of problems at SVR, want none at the Dome • Travel in groups of 3 or more • One officer should know where you are at all times

  5. Transportation • Flying Continental Airlines • Will have MARTA from/to airport and hotel • Rest of the times be prepared to walk or take MARTA

  6. Flights • Flights will be a bit confusing this year • SFO -> Stop over at Houston (IAH) • IAH -> Atlanta (ATL) • Will be same both ways

  7. How Do I get checked in? • Identification • Make sure you have your student ID or Driver’s license • Make sure that your name is the official name on your Student ID Card • One carry-on only

  8. Atlanta-What should I bring? • One Carry-on bag • Cannot exceed 40 lbs • Dimensions add up to 45 inches • No electronics • Don’t forget the TSA rules regarding liquids and how they should be packaged • http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/travel/baggage/carry-on.aspx

  9. Atlanta-What should I bring? (contd) • Money ($100 +) • Purple t-shirts • Have enough for 3 days • Have enough clothes for 4 nights • Make sure to bring toiletries • No large amounts of liquids or gels, they will be thrown away
