Rest Duration. Ms. Delgado’s Music Class. Rest Duration. A Whole Rest receives four full beats. Half Rest. A half rest receives two full beats. This means that two half rests is equal to one whole rest . 2 beats + 2 beats = 4 beat rest. Quarter Rest.
