Navigating Ethical Dilemmas in the Workplace: A Technician's Experience

In my role as an electronic technician at a major roadway, I faced an ethical dilemma during a departmental meeting. After stating that only I serviced certain new PCB boards, my colleagues accused me of not being a team player. This incident highlighted the complexities of honesty and team dynamics in a professional environment. While I defended my position based on factual capabilities, I was left questioning my judgment and job security. This experience underscores the challenges of being truthful in a competitive workplace.
