  1. How to Log In ODIN ID • To login to ODIN Client: • Click File > Login. Alternatively, press Ctrl + L click toolbar icon (As mentioned in next slide ). The Logon window is displayed. • Enter User Code • Enter Password. • Note: While logging for the very first time to ODIN™ Client, you are prompted to change your password. The same occurs when your password is expired. • Enter New Password. • Enter new password again to confirm. • Select required Security Download scrip lists: NSE EQ, NSE F&O, BSE EQ, BSE F&O,MCX COMM, NCDEX COM, NSEL, MCX SX Security Mappings. • Click OK. The ODIN™ Client main window is displayed on successful login authentication.

  2. Click Market > Market Watch or click the toolbar icon (Mentioned in Next Slide). Alternatively, press F4. The Market Watch window is displayed • Market Watch • Market Watch enables viewing detail market information of equities and derivatives on a continuous basis. Further, it enables displaying a predefined profile by default and browse required market details. ODIN™ Client facilitates creating highly parameterized and customizable market details. A customized column display can be saved for future use or even made as the default display. On applying a Portfolio, placing of orders is also supported from within Market Watch window. Features • Place Buy and Sell orders • Display of real-time based market intricate details within a self-adjusting grid • Highly integrated Portfolio creation on the fly • Selection of Portfolio on real-time basis • Customizable display of market information • Subjective market data information at a right-click • One-click selection of entire (scrip) row • Arrange column contents in ascending or descending order • Support multiple instances of Market Watch

  3. While logging for the very first time to ODIN™ Client, Click TOOL>Preferences\Ctrl+R select ‘Order’ Tab to change ‘PRO’ to ‘CLI’.

  4. For Best Five option: Click the toolbar icon (mentioned in next slide)/ or press F5. Best Five provides best five buyers and sellers in market. The left pane shows the Buy details and the right pane shows the Sell details • Features:- • First five Buy and Sell scrip prices in a single-window • Real-time based best five scrip details • Facility to search from all available scrips using Symbol Lookup • Explicit and compiled bought and sold scripquantity value • Place orders from within the Best Five window

  5. Place Buy Orders • Order Entry pane is used to place both buy and sell orders. The basic methodology of placing orders is simple, quick and easy. • Placing of orders can be done within the Market Watch or directly inputting values in order entry pane. Depending on order type - buy/sell - the background of order entry pane is changed. The Blue background implies a Buy Order Entry and a Red background indicates a Sell Order Entry. ODIN" Client provides separate panes for Cash Order Entry, Derivatives Order Entry and even Fast Order Entry. • Place Buy Orders • Highlight a security in Market Watch window. • Click Orders > Place Buy Orders/ press F1/(+). Alternatively, click the toolbar icon (mentioned in next slide). The Order Entry window in the Buy (Blue color) mode is displayed. • Select one of various order types and enter appropriate values. • Click Submit (or press ENTER). •  Note: You can modify and cancel pending orders, if required.

  6. Place Sell Orders • Place Sell orders window submits sell orders in equity market. For placing orders, select a security in Market Watch or directly enter appropriate values for order in the Order Entry. • Highlight a security in Market Watch window. • Click Orders > Place Sell Orders/ press F2/(-). The Order Entry window in the Sell (Red color) mode is displayed. • Select one of various order types and enter appropriate values. • Click Submit (or press ENTER). •  Note: You can modify and cancel pending orders, if required.

Net Position (Integrated) • FEATURES: • To view consolidated position status of the Equity and Derivatives market, click View>NetPosition(Integrated) or click the toolbar icon (mentioned in next slide). Alternatively, press Alt + F6. The Integrated Net Position window is displayed. • Specify the filter conditions such as Exchange, Market Segment, Periodicity, User, Client, Security/Contract, Product Type. • Net position is used to view client’s position in real time basis .

TO View Orders BookClick Orders > Orders Book or click the toolbar icon (mentioned in next slide) Alternatively, press F3. • Features of Order Book: • Orders Book provides information regarding orders placed and status of the orders for all instruments. • Orders Book pane is used for viewing, modifying, and canceling buy/sell orders. • Update list of orders placed for the day • Filter facility to view selective order details • Availability of intricate order details • Manage orders using single window support • Customizable look of the Order Book as and when required

  9. To View executed Trades Click View> Trades or press F8. The Trades window is displayed. • Trade Book records and maintains daily transactions and its details. Using the Trade Book pane, you can view the executed orders. The buy transactions are displayed in Blue color and sell transactions are displayed in Red color. • The trade book: • Lists real time update of executed trades • Uses explicit color-display to distinguish Buy and Sell orders • Chronologically lists entire trades • Supports Filter facility to view selective trade details
