Developing the Plan in PhasesMay 2013 – February 2014 • Review current documents • Needs assessment workshop: define goals, audiences, partners • Audience assessments: interviews, focus groups, surveys, etc • Review results with staff and key committee members, define objectives, select tactics and tools for defined audiences • Identify evaluation metrics • Write plan, edit plan • Present result to Management Board • Finalize

In the End…….. • The ACJV has a tool to advance our three-year Operational Plan, the partnership, and bird and habitat conservation across the region. • The ACJV has a tool to aid us in meeting the Desired Characteristics (the matrix) for JVs in Communications, Education, and Outreach.  • The ACJV is positioned to immediately begin “implementation” upon its completion.
