  3. Key Features Requirements for PDM Tool • State-of-the Art Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) application Product Management (PDM) Tool with focused expertise in Configuration/Data Management processes. • Oracle based system with enhanced search and sort capabilities • PDM Tool that is “Intuitive” • Ease of Training personnel-Less Cost • Ease in setting up system/updates-Less Cost • Provide a friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) for viewing, entering and manipulating data. • TDP Metadata • Configuration Control Metadata-Change Request, Engineering Changes, ECPs • As-Built Data, Site As-Built Data • Supports baseline models based on MIL and EIA Standards • Manages multiple Baselines- Documents or Parts/Software • Allows for multiple baselines by Hardware Configuration Items/Software Configuration Item • A PDM tool that efficiently manages all the Hardware, Software and Firmware that is found in nearly all products today. 3

  4. Key Features Requirements for PDM • Depicts the many relationships of configuration controlled data • Handles multiple “As-configured” scenarios using the ”As-designed foundation. • Allows for the Certification of Parts if required (FAA Programs) • Allows for “User Defined Attribute” (UDA) fields that are adaptable to a Company requirements. • Allows “Customer Access” through Security/Access Control • Customer access to live active CM data and Technical Data Package (TDP) • Increase customer collaboration/cooperation • May be a first for your Customer to receive “Live Active Data” • Further Business prospects with existing customers with “Live Active Data”. 4
