For example, CooperationAgreement USAID / CCAD / CAFTA-DR, has defined and prioritizedthe use of cleantechnologies, whichisfocused in theimprove of theenvironmental performance of private sector productionhand in handwitheconomicgrowth.

However, the number of professionals trained to implement cleaner production practices is not keeping pace with the rising demand.
