  1. Dragon's Treasure • Pick a dragon. • Put out the treasure. • Dragon turns around. • Try to get treasure without dragon seeing you. • Grab treasure and run back to start. • Dragon tries to touch you before you get back. X X X X X X X X

Huggy • Find a space in the yard. • Pick a caller. • Children run around safely. • Caller shouts a number 1-6. e.g. 3 • Run and huddle to make groups showing that number. • Children not in a group (x) are out. • Repeat above until a winning group remains. "What's the time Mr. Wolf?" • Choose a wolf. • Wolf stands facing a wall. • Children line up. • Children shout “What’s the time Mr. Wolf?” • Move slowly forward. • Wolf shouts a time e.g. 1 o’clock. • When the wolf shouts “Dinner time!” he chases and catches his dinner. • Child caught is the next wolf.

L .E .T .T .E .R .S . 1) Find a line to stand behind. 2) Choose a caller to stand out in front. 3) Caller shouts out a letter e.g. S 4) Any child with that letter in their name takes a jump forward. E.g. Sam, Sarah, Thomas 5) Winner will touch the caller first. 6) Winner becomes next caller. “S” Sam Ben Amy

Treasure Hunt • Make two groups: Pirates and finders. • Finders close their eyes. • Pirates hide the treasure e.g. Beanbag. • Finders work as a group to find the treasure. • Pirates shout clues: • Freezing – very far away • Cold – Far away • Warm – Close • Boiling – Very close • 6) Continue until treasure is found. Freezing Boiling

  6. Traffic Lights “RED” “YELLOW” GREEN • Find a space in the yard. • Choose a caller. • Caller shouts instructions to the group to drive their cars: • Red – Park and sit down. • Yellow – Drive slowly. • Green – Drive quickly. • 4) Change caller after a minute.

  7. Dungeon Tag • Find a space. • Choose a dungeon area. • Choose a chaser. • Children run and the chaser “tags” as many children as they can. • When tagged children goto dungeon. • Children have to do 10: • Star jumps • Spotty dogs • Running on the spot • Touch toes • Before they return to game.

  8. Follow My Leader • Find a space. • Choose a leader. • Line up behind the leader. • Leader moves around the grid and children follow. • Change leaders after a minute. • Leader ideas: • Different pathways, hopping, skipping, jumping.

  9. Freeze Touch • Find a space in the yard. • Choose a “Freezer” and a “Melter” • Children run around. • Freezer tries to touch and “Freeze” as many children as possible. • Melter touches frozen children to set them free.

  10. SHARKS!! • Choose a “cree” area. • Choose two sharks. • Sharks Chase children. • Cree area is safe from sharks. • Once tagged, child becomes a shark. • Game finishes when all children are sharks or in cree. CREE
