Southern Regional Volleyball Association www.srva.org Clubs in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee Over 80 active VB clubs in 3 states Each coach, athlete and active parent joins USAV /SRVA, yearly cost is 60.00 ( for athletes and coaches this is paid as part of club cost) and for parents yearly cost is 30.00 All adult participants ( coaches, referees, parents) are required to have clear background check ( SRVA requires every 2 year, we require it yearly. Cost is 20.00)
  3. Our Mission and Goals Southern Slammers goal is to create an environment that will allow each girls to grow individually and as a member of a team, athletically and emotionally. This goal will only be accomplished when we work together; coaches, parents and athletes. While winning is important and fun, winning is defined more by attitude than points. Learning to work as a member of a team, putting team before self, and the importance of each athlete’s contributions to the teams success is a fundamental principal that the club will work by. The belief that on a successful team there are no hero’s or zero is one that will be reinforced at each practice and match. Developing the individual player is key to a successful club; improving their knowledge of the game ( skills), their ability to accept compliments and criticism ( self-confidence), and their approach to practice and matches ( attitude) are the primary fundamentals the club will build on. Working together with coaches and parents to build an organization where everyone is part of the team. To be successful and grow, Southern Slammers has to be managed by similarly minded parents that are focused on the growth of the athlete and not the profit of the organization, yet ever mindful that it is a business with cost and expenses.

  6. Cost breakout by tournament The above figures do not include the cost of lodging, travel or meals for the athletes. These are shared club cost per player, per team.
