  2. Acrylic • Noun • A quick-drying synthetic fabric • The dress was made of acrylic and never needed to be ironed.

  3. Apparel • Noun • Clothing; garments • This department store always carries the most up-to-date men’s and women’s apparel.

  4. Azure • Noun • A light purplish blue color; the color of a clear blue sky • The ribbons on the headdress were azure and yellow.

  5. Bandanna • Noun • A large handkerchief, usually printed with a white design on a red or blue background • The cowboy wiped his brow with the old bandanna he kept in his back pocket.

  6. Bauble • Noun • A showy ornament or trinket, such as a jewel or ring, of little value • I thought the brooch might be worth a fortune, but it turned out to be a mere bauble.

  7. Beige • Noun • A light brown color • The cape was chocolate brown on one side and beige on the other.

  18. Suede • Noun • Leather with a soft surface • The full-length coat is made of expensive suede.

  19. Toga • Noun • A draped one-piece garment worn by citizens of Rome • The actor playing Julius Caesar was still wearing his toga when he gave the interview.

  20. Trend • Noun • A general inclination or prevailing direction of a course of action or thought • The trend seems to be away from shorter hemlines.
