  2. Eating Disorders Definition: Any of a range of psychological disorders characterized by abnormal or disturbed eating habits Many people have eating disorders. A lot of people see them mostly on TV shows or in celebrity media. Famous people in the media have struggled with such things. Most young people look up to these celebrities and when they see them doing this they follow.

  3. Anorexia Anorexia is the fear of gaining weight. People with anorexia self starve and see there body differently than its actually is. This type of eating disorder is found in most teen girls. This is known as the “rich white girl” disorder. Anorectics spend a lot of time looking in the mirror, obsessing over clothes size and always talk negatively about their bodies.

  4. Bulimic Bulimic Nervosa is a eating disorder where the person eats excessive amount of food then purging. Many people with bulimia consume 3,000-10,000 calories in one hour. Purging is self vomiting to get rid of all the calories eaten. Sticking the finger down the throat triggering the gag reflex.
