Infrastructure Status • High Power Waveguide and 9 inch 201 MHz Hard Line Coax installation to within 5m of the MAGNET completed • Low voltage signal cables are installed from Linac to Exp Hall and Hall to upstairs room. • 50% of the signal connectors are installed. • Magnet PS and its cables hve been moved into Exp. Hall.
805 MHz Test Cavity Preparation • Single Cell 805 MHz cavity preparations have begun. • LBL cavity taken apart in Lab G; new location for spark damage observed, little damage observed on window. • LBL cavity has been cleaned; needs some refurbished parts to complete and bring over for installation in the MTA EXP. Hall.
Test Schedule LBL 805 MHz Cavity • Refurbish Cavity part machining--- 1 week • Install in Lab G curved windows-- 1 week • Move to Exp Hall and install magnet- 1 week • Install Vacuum system& water - 1 week • Leak check Vacuum and correct - 1 week • Hot N2 gas purge - 1 week • Outside shield wall install; Test Begin-1 week
Other Concurrent Tasks • Connect magnet PS, controls, test – 2 weeks • Calibrated Signal Cables -- 1 week • Install and Test Safety Interlocks -- 2 weeks • Calibrate LBL Cavity, Qo, pickups -- 1 week
Test Schedule 1 .End of this process test begin on curved Be window coated TiN --- 3 weeks 2. Continue Experiment Magnet on --- 3 weeks 3. Branch Point continue with Button test or Begin 201 MHz study???
