  2. Commasplice • Some say thecommasplice is themostcommontype of sentenceerror, but thatshould be goodnewsforyou! Thecommasplice is an errorthat is easytoidentifyandfix. A commaspliceoccurswhentwoindependentclauses (clausesthatcould be sentences on theirown) arejammedtogetherwith a comma.
