  7. The Fashion Plate • Cannot get sweaty and find physical education outfits not up to their standards so therefore refuse to participate • What can you do?

  10. Everyone needs a mentor • To assist new teachers in making a successful transition into a new environment • Increased communication and retention of quality educators • Improved morale • Enhanced collegiality and teacher performance • Enhanced student performance

  11. Your role as a mentee • Seek out a mentor • Ask questions • Get to know other teachers and staff members • Establish a relationship with administration • Observe other teachers • Utilize resources • Join professional organizations
