General My Colleagues is a private virtual space for employees of a company to improve their team spirit and team work. In order to find out which features and characteristics our clients are interested in, we asked them to come up with a few of existing virtual spaces and give a list of the features they like and dislike about them. The result is displayed in the following slides.

We'd keep the interface as simple and intuitive as possible and avoid using commercial based Business Models. We would like to get a more real perspective by using statistics and take into account the needs of the users as well as customers.
1.Conclusion of love & hate We analyzed their feedback and concluded the desired features and capabilities for My Colleagues as following: We want to develop a system which is well-designed in terms of both privacy and performance. We'd keep the interface as simple and intuitive as possible and avoid using commercial based Business Models. We would like to get a more real perspective by using statistics and take into account the needs of the users(employees) as well as the customer (the company).
2. PACTS People: • People who are working within the company • Eomplyee age should between 16 to 65 • System for both gender • User should have suffiecient skill to use the web confidently • User should have certain of english standard in order to use the system Activities: • Finance Dept- stocks/shares/ news & updates history/record of their balance sheet • Maintenance- ordering new machines/items for the infrastructure of company -> links to online shops • Developers Writing/de-bugging codes Testing codes • Overall Profile of every employees : pic, phone no. , dept, gender Chat rooms between employees and amongst dept Send and receive messages between depts. Calender/schedule for each dept. Public messages blog for reviews outside the company and working hours.
2. PACTS (cont.) Context: • Users can log into the system using their login IDs and password with web browsing devices from anywhere. • Managers of dept can hide information away from other dept • it's basically an electronic communication space for a company, relevant to the company employees needs. It'd help everybody catch up to latest news of the company and makes it more convinient to arrange meetings and events within the company. • it could be used to store history of events and use the information to do statistical research. Technology: • PHP/HTML with SQL database. • System must be compatible to any platform which satisfies a minimum technological standard. • Secured firewall. Success factors: • Simple and user friendly interface. • designed specifically for the use of the company and therefore more relevant to users' needs. • Efficient system processing : both memory and time. • Security protection within the company.

But of course managers will have access to all other departments. From the common functions, the meeting rooms and calendar functions are special features that we have come up with for business purposes: the meeting rooms function enables the user to create an online chat room.
