How you do it (division) • Well, first you flipthe fractionof the divisor. Then you multiply the two fractions and get the quotient.
Problem one • Karyn runs 5 1/2 miles a day. How far would Karyn run a week?
Problem two • George, Bob and Liana each were 4 feet 8 inches. What is their height in all?
Problem three • Larry bought a 25 5/6 poundturkey for Thanksgiving. He and his 12 family members want an equal amount of turkey. How many pounds of turkey does each person get?
Problem 4 • Judith’s shoe lace is 12 ¾ inches long. She wants to make the shoe lace 3 times shorter. How long is Judith’s shoe lace now?
