Definitions for which statistics are available (Regulatory bodies) Infocentres: Local connectivity centres providing access to information services, different types of remote communication, education and training, preferably in rural or geographically isolated areas. Also provides an alternative for people without a telephone line or computer, offering them more economical and effective access to such facilities.   7. Definitions used (Regulatory bodies) Telecommunication access centres: Infocentres, Communications centres (CANTV) and Connection centres (Telcel). Venezuela, CONATEL Internet booths: Initially designed as connection centres allowing anyone without a computer or web access to still participate in this new form of social integration.
