  1. Russell Curling ClubMain Volunteer Areas Facility & Rentals Support Curling Development Kitchen Staff Bar Staff (Smart Serve training required)

  2. Facility & Rentals Support(20 volunteers needed) • Set-up tables & chairs before rentals & events • Take-down and clean-up after events • Upkeep of building and grounds • Routine cleaning (several crews in rotation) • Assistance to Rentals Manager • Assistance to Building Manger

  3. Curling Development(8 -10 volunteers needed) • Help with “Little Rock” & “Bantam” curlers • Sunday mornings (2-4 crews on rotation) • Volunteers must follow instructor’s direction • Help conduct training drills • Encourage & support junior curlers • Help maintain on ice order and safety • Police reliability check is needed

  4. Kitchen Staff (generally need 4 at each event) • Heat and serve soup/ chili/ stew etc. • Prepare and serve sandwiches • Set / clear tables • Load and unload dishwasher • Dry and store kitchenware • Tidy club room after meal service

  5. Bar Staff(must be SMART SERVE trained ) • Serve as bartender during club events • Generally employed in pairs • Bar procedures training provided • SMART SERVE training is planned for 9 Oct, 9am – 1 pm (RCC pays cost)
