This presentation by Madi Gray from 6S explores the critical balance between the rights and responsibilities of loggers in the rainforests. Loggers have the right to log, use necessary equipment, earn money, have a voice, and produce goods. However, they must also follow laws, use equipment safely, only take what they need, and respect all organisms. Failure to adhere to these principles could lead to devastating consequences, including habitat destruction and loss of biodiversity. Learn how we can help conserve rainforests through recycling, restoring ecosystems, and making sustainable choices.

What are the responsibilities of loggers in the Rainforests?
What will happen if we don’t do this? BEFORE AFTER
Consequence 2: The animals will have no home or even die Where is my home?
Consequence 3: The government might getangry when they don’t do the right thing.
Consequence 4: The aboriginal or indigenous people might get sick or lose their homes.
Think about it!! Do we want the rainforest to look like this?
Conservation 2: Restoring trees and plants when they have been cut down

2. People are selling and buying less animal and plant products
Did you know??? That every second a slice of rainforest the size of a football field disappears. The main reason for this is because HUMANS are ruining them. Rainforests used to cover 14% of the earth’s land area and now it is only just 6%. Scientists have estimated that in another 40 years there will be no rainforests.
