  2. What are the loggers’ rights in the Rainforests?

  3. Right 1: To log the Rainforest

  4. Right 2: To use equipment needed to log.

  5. Right 3: To earn money from logging

  6. Right 4: To be able to have a say

  7. Right 5: To be allowed to produce products and use them

  8. What are the responsibilities of loggers in the Rainforests?

  9. Responsibility 1: To abide the law

  10. Responsibility 2: To use equipment safely

  11. Responsibility 3: To only take what they need

  12. Responsibility 4: To be careful of all organisms

  13. What will happen if we don’t do this? BEFORE AFTER

  14. Consequence 1: The rainforest will be destroyed

  15. Consequence 2: The animals will have no home or even die Where is my home?

  16. Consequence 3: The government might getangry when they don’t do the right thing.

  17. Consequence 4: The aboriginal or indigenous people might get sick or lose their homes.

  18. Think about it!! Do we want the rainforest to look like this?

  20. What can we do to help conserve rainforests?

  21. Conservation 1: Recycle our used paper

  22. Conservation 2: Restoring trees and plants when they have been cut down

  23. Conservation 3: Reducing our oil, gas and coal consumption.

  24. Conservation 4: Use wood efficiently and not over using it

  25. We can do that, but what is already being done?

  26. 1: They are setting up animal saving groups that help the endangered rainforest animals survive

  27. 2. People are selling and buying less animal and plant products

  28. 3. Making paper out of recycled paper

  29. 4. People are making other products out of recycled paper

  30. Did you know??? That every second a slice of rainforest the size of a football field disappears. The main reason for this is because HUMANS are ruining them. Rainforests used to cover 14% of the earth’s land area and now it is only just 6%. Scientists have estimated that in another 40 years there will be no rainforests.
