  3. The Essentials • Two or more people – At least one person not committed to Jesus. • A single passage of scripture Preferably a moment with Jesus. WHY?

  4. My first GIG

  5. Is that it? • The purpose of a GIG is for the group to discover who Jesus is together. • Everyone (including you) will learn a ton about Jesus through this process. • A GIG is simply introducing our friends to who Jesus is, and tell people what we love about HIM.

  6. So what next? ASK • Find out what you love about Jesus. • Write it down, marinate in it, let the love of Jesus soak into your heart. • Think of open ended questions that stir conversation. • My favorite  What can we learn about Jesus from this moment? • ASK a close friend or a someone you know from class if they are down to learn about Jesus.

  7. Le them know the context • Go out for lunch, coffee, breaky, whatever or just hang in a room. • It will be a time to discover and learn about the LORD.

  8. Believe it or not? • Almost anyone who you are friends with that doesn’t know Jesus will say yes to an invitation. • It takes practice. • It is a skill like playing a sport or playing an instrument. • You don’t have to have all the answers. It is actually encouraging if you don’t. BE REAL • Jesus speaks for himself in the moment.
