  2. “Platero and I” was a book written by Juan Ramón Jiménez. This author received the Nobel Prize of Literature in 1956. This book became the most popular play of this poet.

  3. Platero was a small donkey. It was furry and happy. It was light grey and his eyes shone like two black glasses Platero is one of the best friends of Juan Ramón.He loves this donkey a lot

  4. Juan Ramón´s nephews and nieces spent their holidays with Platero.Platero loved the children and they loved Platero too.

  5. Everyday Juan Ramón came to the stable to say hello to Platero and it answered him braying.One day, Platero didn´t move and it had sad eyes. It was ill and Darbon, its vet, could not do anything.At noon, Platero went away for ever.

  6. Concha López Narváez made an adaptation of this book because when she was a child she enjoyed it so much.Concha visited us and we had a meeting with her. The children asked her many questions.

  7. After this meeting, we made a big poster where Platero was represented in it.

  8. Platero was smooth, so we used grey cotton for his body. He ran in the country among flowers. We made flowers using coloured paper too.

  9. The children participated in the whole process and they had a lot of fun.
