Docket Booking Process –Step 1 • In WebXpress, docket entry is carried out in a multi step process • Data entered in each step has an implication on next steps • Data entered in previous step can not be changed in next steps • Step 1 • Docket Number- This can be manual or system generated. Manual number can be controlled using Document Series Management (see manual on DCR) • Docket date and time- by default this will be system date but can be edited as per rule set • Billing Type- This define payment basis for given docket- it can be Paid, To Pay or TBB. For internal or without charge movement FOC (Free on Carrier ) can be used • Billing party- This is code of customer on whom a bill will be raised. This is mandatory for TBB as pay basis. It can be made Paid and To Pay as per rule set • Origin- This is populated from login of user and is starting point for Docket • Destination- This is code of delivery control office of transportation company. A smart search can help select correct code for any given city • Service tax exempt- This is used when a movement is exempt from service tax under government rules

Docket Booking Process –Step 2 • Fields entered in step 1 can not be edited in step 2 • Following fields are entered in Step 2 • Product – 3PL can define a product in product master. define such as Road, Express, Air, Train etc • Service Type-Whether consignment will be a Full Truck Load (FTL) or Less than Truck Load (LTL) • Type of Movement- Activated only when Service type= FTL. This defines capacity required to move consignment • Pickup/Delivery- describe the pick up and delivery point such Godown Pickup and Godown Delivery or Godown pick up and Door delivery • From and To define theorigin and destination city of docket booked point and delivery point. • Packaging Type- provides the description of the type of packaging such as Bottle, Gunny bags , Container, packet etc.

Docket Booking Process –Step 2- Contd. • Said to contain describes product type such as computer hard ware, chemicals, food stuff etc. • Special instruction- Any specific instruction for given consignment is entered here. • Services- These are enabled/ disabled as per rules set in contracts • Volumetric- If selected, freight will be charged on basis of volumetric weight of consignment as per rules set • COD/DOD –A service where value of consignment is collected on delivery by transportation company • ODA (Outside delivery Area)- A service where consignment is delivered outside of network of transportation company • DACC- Delivery Against Consignee Copy- A service where goods are delivered against receipt of consignee copy of docket • Deferment- A service where consignment delivery may be postponed for a discount in rates • Permit Applicable- Whether permit data needs to be captured for this consignment

  7. Docket Entry Screen- Step 2 • These Information are Inactive in Step 2 because its already entered in Step 1. Click on STEP2

Shipper /consigner describes the Party who book the consignment. • Consignee – The party to whom consignment is delivered. • From master – contractual party. • Walk In Customer – Non Contractual party or Prospect party. • Document- These are enabled/ disabled as per rules set in contracts. • Risk Type – CarrierRisk or Owner Risk. • Invoice Detail – As per declared in Invoice of consignment (Invoice no. , Date, Declared Value, No. of packages , Actual weight of consignment). • Payment Detail – Freight charge of consignment.
