  7. YouTube to PowerPoint YouTube videos are usually Adobe Flash .flv files and can not be saved directly with a right-click • Step #1 Install Media Converter • Step #2 Save video as WMV • Step #3 Insert into PowerPoint

  8. Step #1 Install Media Converter • Use FireFox browser • This example is for FireFox version 3 • Tools > Add-ons • Get Extensions • Search for Media Converter • Click Add To FireFox • Accept the installation annoyance boxes • Restart FireFox

  9. Save a video • Here’s one http://youtube.com/watch?v=pyLTqBARFt8 • Click the Fast Video Add-on button • Follow the wizard’s steps • Use WMV file format • Enter a file name • Accept defaults • Click the download button

  10. Step #3 Insert into PowerPoint • In PPT use Insert > Movie > From File
