  2. What is speechBITE™? • Free website for all to search the literature • Covers the entire scope of speech pathology • All treatment studies contain empirical data • Only trials where the population have a communication/swallowing disorder or are ‘at risk’

  3. Study types • Systematic Reviews • Randomised Controlled Trials • Non-randomised controlled trials • Case Series • Single Case Experimental Designs • Ratings, a score out of 10 on the PEDro scale for randomised controlled trials and group comparison studies - “believability”
