  4. Hujan Kawasan menerima hujan tahunan melebihi 3500mm – Pantai Timur Semenanjung Malaysia(kaki bukit Terengganu), pedalaman Sarawak, pantai utara dan timur Sabah. Kawasan menerima kurang drp 2000mm (kawasan lindungan hujan), - Chuping Perlis, Kuala Pilah dan Jelebu N. Sembilan , tenggara Sabah dan pedalaman barat Johor. Kawasan paling lembab -Long Akah, Sarawak purata hujan tahunan melebihi 5000mm.
