There is a CorningWare platter. A very delicate platter. Delaware
On this plate is a pen. The pen is standing on its point. Pennsylvania
Standing on the top of the pen is a Jersey cow. Moo. New Jersey
On top of the cow’s horns there is a man in a purple robe. This is King George. Georgia
George is holding his finger. It is cut off and being connected with a bandage. Connecticut
On the top of his finger is a huge mass of bubble gum. Massachusetts
She has on a hat shaped like a ship. The ship is facing south. south South Carolina
The smokestack on the ship is billowing smoke with something that smells good. It’s a big, juicy new ham. south New Hampshire
Stuck to the side of the ham is a piece of paper. It’s a piece of sheet music. The song is called “Carry me back to Old Virginia.” south Virginia
One corner of this sheet music is flapping in the breeze. Sticking out from behind it is the Empire State Building. south New York
On top of this building is another ship. It is facing north. south north North Carolina
The smokestack of this ship is belching fire and in it you can see the shape of a red rooster. This happens to be a Rhode Island red rooster. south north Rhode Island
